In short: the data you enter in the app is stored securely so you can use it on all your devices. We don't analyse or sell it, and only the services needed to run the app (listed below) process it. Our website uses Google Analytics only if you agree to it.

1. Introduction

Welcome to the My Little Business app. We are committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share your information when you use our mobile application and visit our website, mylittlebusiness.app.

2. Information We Collect

We securely store information that you choose to provide directly to us when you use the app. This information is only stored on Google Firestore servers and is not analyzed, processed, or used by us in any way. All of the following information is optional:

  • Personal information (e.g., email)
  • Your business data: sales, orders, products, materials, customers, expenses, etc.
  • Subscription status
  • Google account information (if using Google Sign-In)
  • Apple ID information (if using Apple Sign-In)

Please note that we only store this information securely to enable your access across devices and do not collect or use this data for any other purposes. Information about visits to our website is described separately in section 5.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • Provide, maintain, and improve our services

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not share your personal information with any third parties, except in the following specific, limited circumstances:

  • Google Sign-In: When you choose to use Google Sign-In, we interact with Google's authentication services to verify your identity.
  • Apple Sign-In: When you choose to use Sign in with Apple, we interact with Apple's authentication services to verify your identity.
  • Google Firestore hosting: your app data is stored on Google's Firebase / Firestore servers.
  • Google Play Billing: For in-app purchases and subscriptions on Android devices, we use Google Play's billing system. Google processes these transactions, and we receive information about your purchases to manage your account and provide access to paid features.
  • Apple App Store Billing: For in-app purchases and subscriptions on iOS devices, we use Apple's App Store billing system. Apple processes these transactions, and we receive information about your purchases to manage your account and provide access to paid features.
  • RevenueCat: We use RevenueCat to manage and process auto-renewing subscriptions across both Android and iOS platforms. RevenueCat helps us track subscription status, manages receipts, and handles subscription events. For this purpose, RevenueCat may process certain user information, such as app user ID, purchase information, and device information.   • Google Analytics (website only, with your consent): see section 5.

These processes are governed by the respective privacy policies and terms of service of these third parties. We only receive and use the minimum amount of data necessary to provide these specific features and manage your account.

5. Our Website, Cookies and Google Analytics

This section applies only to our website, mylittlebusiness.app. The My Little Business app does not use Google Analytics.

5.1 Without your consent

When you first visit the website, we ask whether you agree to analytics cookies. Until you click Accept, Google Analytics is not loaded and no analytics cookies are set. The website still works fully if you decline.

To remember your choices, the website saves a few small values in your browser's local storage: your cookie choice, your preferred language, and whether you closed the language suggestion. These stay on your device and are never sent to us.

Like any website, our hosting provider processes technical data such as your IP address and browser type to deliver the pages and keep them secure.

5.2 With your consent: Google Analytics

If you accept, we use Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland) and Google LLC, to understand how visitors use the website so that we can improve it. Google Analytics collects information such as:

  • the pages you view and how long you stay;
  • how you arrived (for example from a search engine or a link);
  • your approximate location (country or city), device type, browser and operating system;
  • interactions on the page, such as clicks on the App Store or Google Play buttons and which FAQ questions you open.

Google Analytics sets cookies named _ga and _ga_<ID>, which are kept for up to 2 years. According to Google, Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses. The data may be processed by Google in the United States; such transfers are covered by the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework and Google's standard contractual clauses. Analytics data is kept for no longer than 14 months.

We only look at this information in aggregated form. We do not use it for advertising and do not combine it with the data you enter in the app.

5.3 Your choice

The legal basis for Google Analytics is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can change your mind at any time with the link at the bottom of every page. If you withdraw your consent, we stop Google Analytics and delete its cookies. You can also block Google Analytics on all websites with Google's opt-out browser add-on. 6. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized or unlawful processing, accidental loss, destruction, or damage.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information. You can do this by contacting us using the email address below. If you wish to delete your data entirely, you may submit a request, and we will process it in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

You can also delete your account and all associated data yourself at any time in the app, under My Account. Deleting your account does not cancel an active subscription — please cancel it separately in the App Store or Google Play.

8. Subscription Services and Payments

Our app offers a subscription model. Subscription payments are processed through Google Play (for Android users) or Apple App Store (for iOS users) and managed by RevenueCat. We do not directly handle or store your payment information.

8.1 Platform Billing

Depending on your device, your subscription payment will be processed by either:

  • Google Play Billing (for Android devices)
  • Apple App Store Billing (for iOS devices)

Your payment information is handled directly by these platforms according to their respective privacy policies and terms of service. We do not receive or store your full payment details.

8.2 RevenueCat Services

We use RevenueCat to manage auto-renewing subscriptions, handle subscription events, and process receipts across both platforms. RevenueCat helps us provide a seamless subscription experience and ensures that you have access to the features you've paid for. When you purchase a subscription through our app:

  • RevenueCat receives information about your purchases to validate and manage your subscription
  • RevenueCat processes technical identifiers such as app user ID and device information
  • RevenueCat does not receive your full payment details, which remain with Google Play or Apple App Store
  • RevenueCat's use of your data is governed by their Privacy Policy
